More Stephen King Craziness

So it's been awhile since I updated you guys on what I've been reading. Well not really because I did make a video reviewing Doug Dorst and J.J Abrams' latest literary blunder "S.". After being incredibly frustrated with that, I decided to come back home and consume more Stephen King and I have been since my last post regarding Mr. King's work. So here's an update on what I've been reading. Try as I might, I still can't get through "It" and I REALLY don't like how "Carrie" is written. Also I've been reading a few of his short story collections here and there but I won't cover them in this post since this is about the novels. At the moment I am reading "Needful Things".

Pretty Little Liars S04E17 "Bite Your Tongue" Review

 photo pll417hdtv-lolmp4PutLocker1002_zps261a0916.jpg
Well HOT DAMN! The second season of "The Following" maybe slow building but it's full steam ahead on "Pretty Little Liars". A lot of ground to cover, where oh where do I begin? Last week, Spencer and Emily were at odds because Spencer interrupted Emily's meeting with her Lord & Savior Allison, Ezra got caught screamin' at bitches and covered for it (in the oddest way) but thus far nothing has been going on in regards to Mona...well all that's changed.

The Following S02E02 "For Joe" Review

 photo thefollowing202hdtv-lolmp4PutLocker0062_zps3bbc9ed4.jpg
*sigh* Ya know, I'm really wishing I reviewed the first season instead of this season. This season is starting off to be rather...out of sync with the previous season. There are some good points and bad points with this season but I'm starting to feel like the bad is out weighing the good...then again it's still early.

Jack Is Back: Early Thoughts on "24: Live Another Day"

Well it's official! While production for the "24: Movie" was nixted for the 3rd time, FOX threw up their hands and decided to bring back television most bad ass Federal agent, Jack Bauer to "Live Another Day". Coming down the pike on May of this year, we once again follow the tale of former CTU agent turned fugitive Jack Bauer. To help get back into the universe and feel of "24" I went back and watched the latter seasons (6 to 8) and I'm surprised to find that my position has changed on a few things. For starters I still think Season 8 is the worst of the latter seasons, but 6 and 7 weren't AS bad as I remember them to be. With that being said, with "24" coming back I list my hopes, hope nots, expectations and predictions for this revival.

Why Haven't You Watched: "The Booth At The End"

Remy Carreiro, Unreality Magazine contributor has a series of articles titled "Why Haven't You Seen It" where he discusses moderately obscure movies that deserve more attention than they got and today I'm doing the same thing. Lately I've been cruising around the internet here and there looking for the best web series. The web series I usually watch are mostly review shows Atop The Fourth Wall, The Spoony Experiments, Extra Credit and so on. But the internet is SO much more than review shows and not being tied down to a production studio and executives can REALLY allow some people to do some VERY creative things. which brings me to this little gem, "The Booth At The End".

Pretty Little Liars S04E16 "Close Encounters" Review

 photo Plls416hdtv-lolmp4PutLocker029_zps7ccb029e.jpg
Ya know, the more I watch "Ravenswood" the more I feel like I'm reviewing the wrong show. Not because "Ravenswood" is good or anything, but because each episode leaves me something to chuckle about for hours. "If he finds out, it's The Grinder for both of us." that's a direct quote from "Ravenswood" spoken by a Creepy Little Girl...I sh*t you not, "Ravenswood" has a Creepy Little Girl in it. *sigh*

Chuckles aside, let's talk "Pretty Little Liars". The heat is on and The Liars are back, this time a few more revelations are made, plot holes are found and storylines are brought to a semi-conclusion. At the end of last week's episode, we found The Liars high-tailing it to a location thought to be Allison's hide-out after inadvertently leading "A" to her location. "Whoever finds her get to keep her." was the challenge and one liar is determined to find Allison.

The Following S02E01 "Resurrection" Review

 photo tf0201hxlolmp4PutLocker050_zpse71db918.jpg
So along with my "Pretty Little Liar" reviews I'm apparently not doing enough writing (despite the fact that I've been writing a screenplay since mid January and am currently working on revisions) and in that mind set I decided to include "The Following" on my blog. After all, I've made it clear that I absolutely LOVE serial killer stories and the first season of this show was top-notch in my opinion. Anyway, we're right back where we left off, Ryan and Claire were celebrating their victory when all of a sudden, Joe Carroll's undercover operative Molly pops up, attacks Ryan and stabs Claire in the spine.

Are The Big Villains TOO COOL For Live Action ?

If Marvel has taught us anything it's that the BIG villains are indeed doable if you give them the proper time and build up to lead into their badassness. However, the recent Avengers movie wasn't the first attempt at putting a HUGE villain on screen, it was just the first to successfully introduce the concept. But let me take a step back and explain this article. There are comic book villains who are VERY intense and their appearance is VERY involved, they're almost larger than life characters who endure a reputation of being the biggest of the baddest. Characters like these are almost too much for the human brain to comprehend in a live action setting. Or maybe not too much to comprehend...but perhaps TOO COOL for live action.

Pretty Little Liars S04E15 "Love ShAck Baby" Review

 photo pll0415hxlolmp4PutLocker0029_zpscec829ac.jpg
Once again we're back with our favorite The Liars and man oh man do the lies stack on this go around. Last week, Hanna revealed that she had Allison journal, a cadre of secrets so personal that it may rend their little circle of friends asunder. "A" laid down the gauntlet in a slide show claiming "First one to get to her can keep her" and thus the race was on. Find out how it went, below the break...

Pretty Little Liars S04E14 "Who's In the Box" Review

 photo PLL414LOLmp4PutLocker0033_zpsf9273037.jpg
And we're back oh my brothers and only friends, after an indecently long hiatus we join our favorite liars where we last left them, in the back yard contemplating the "confirmed alive" Allison (then again I never thought that bitch was dead anyway). But as logic would have it, the girls aren't exactly thrilled that Allison is alive, since her being alive has several implications, all of them being unpleasant, but as far as a post-break episode goes, this one lays the groundwork for some big things, so let's dive in!

Movies I Am Looking Forward To In 2014

It's that time again, 2013 was more or less a low point for movies in my opinion but 2014 is looking promising with a few trailers of movies that I am more than a little interested in checking out, so let's get to it.
