And Now We Have A "Dexter: Resurrection" Trailer

We're back, kiddos...or rather, he's back, that's right, folks, Dexter is back from the dead with a brand new series. Now, say what you will about "Dexter: New Blood," I thought it was pretty good, all things considered, but I have to agree that the ending was pretty rushed...and now we have a course correction with "Dexter: Resurrection" after surviving a potentially fatal gunshot wound inflicted upon him by his very own son for breaking the code and killing an innocent man (Srg Logan). So now we pick up from that scene and find Dexter in the hospital and awakening to a new life...and where else but New York?

My Thoughts On "Dexter: Original Sin" Trailer

So here we are once again, "Dexter: Original Sin" trailer is among us now and coming out as soon as next month at the time of writing this (Nov. 29th, 2024) and *sigh* "Dexter" is not the franchise Showtime thinks it is, the premise of "Dexter" is very, very, simple, he's a serial killer that kills killers and the real gimmick of the show is how long can he do this before the gets caught...and unfortunately the original series answered this question (the answer being for a long freakin' time...because Miami Metro's Police Department has the intelligent of 2 rocks rattling around in a tin can...and one of those rocks is named Det. Quinn). And then the 2nd series "Dexter: New Blood" answered this question again, not very long as long as someone is paying attention, but that's the gimmick, how long can he keep this up. Since that question has been answered twice and in a definitive fashion, the need for a prequel series seems like putting a saddle on a dead horse in that Showtime is determined to ride our red-head human hacker to whatever dollar signs they believe are on the horizon.

DEXTER-ity: Dexter: New Blood

Well, well, well, of all the things coming back I never thought I'd see the day our beloved red-headed human hacker Dexter Morgan would make his return. In many ways, I suppose the producers got what they wanted in the god-awful Season 8, which was supposed to be the series's final season, in which they wanted Dexter to live in hopes of a possible return. Well, welcome to possible, and Dexter is back. Going into this limited series, I feel trepidation because, considering how badly the series was handled after 4 and 5, I'm not worried that some old habits will arise, and we'll get to some of those in a bit. But now that this series has concluded and I've had a few days to digest what I just witnessed, how did the series go? Well, welcome one and all to my finale Dexterity, a "Dexter" review, and analysis done by yours truly.

DEXTER-ity: Season Eight Review & Analysis

 photo PutlckerDexter-Season-8-Teaser_zps7a906290.jpg
And here we are Oh my brothers and only friends, the 2nd to last episode of DEXTER-ity dealing with the final season of "Dexter" and boy oh boy do I have some choice words for this (as Debra Morgan would put it) "Fuckpocalypse".  Unlike most DEXTER-ity episodes, this is actually going to be quite long, so I broke it up into 3 videos and included a few comments below that I thought were hilarious, so after watching my videos you can hopefully get a laugh. Also there are some very important observations I've made that I unfortunately didn't write in my review (because that would have made the video hours long and I would have been ranting and foaming at the mouth by the end of it). Anyways, ENJOY!

Why We HATE Hannah McKay

Okay kids and kittens, I've been trying to turn this into a video BUT it's been a hard minute since I wrote an article here (and whenever I try to record a video it ends up being somewhere around 22 minutes and I end up ranting), also I'm a lot more eloquent when I'm writing my thoughts, rather than verbally expressing them. So, if you guys have watched my DEXTER-ity episode for Season 7, you'll know that I didn't particularly care for the character of Hannah McKay. Much to my anger, Hannah McKay is back for Season 8 (oh goody...-_-).

Anyway, I know I'm not alone in the utter hatred of Hannah McKay, BUT some of us have EXTREME difficulty putting into words WHY we don't like Hannah McKay. SO as a courtesy to you guys, I've decided to list the MANY valid reasons we don't like Hannah McKay, so you won't have trouble listing them. Enjoy after the break! By the way, SOME SPOILERS AHEAD! SO IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED SEASON 8 UP TO THIS DATE, DO NOT READ (not that it really matters because you're not missing anything)

Fictional Serial Killers That Dexter Will Never Kill

So we all know I love "Dexter" and if you don't know, well the WAKE UP ALREADY! I've done reviews of the series, posted blogs about it and also did a podcast with 2 noteworthy "Dexter" reviewers not too long ago. Despite the fact that I didn't care for Season 7, I still nonetheless enjoy the series and I decided to play Death Battle and imagine a world in which Dexter goes toe-to-toe with some of cinema's and TV's most noteworthy serial killers, so here we go;

Dexter Season 7: The Season That Wasn't...

So in the midst of the ass that was Season 7 of "Dexter", I decided to express my thoughts on the way I would have done this season! As a preamble, I am foregoing the addition of sub-plots and so on just so I can make things go much faster as this is a LONG article as it is. Some of the same plot points happen here, such as Speltzer (The Minotaur Dude) and so on, but I'm changing a LOT of stuff. So join me if you will for "Dexter: Season Seven"...Enjoy!
