Why Haven't You Watched: "The Lost Room"

HOLY CRAP! So this is different and I'll tell you why in a bit, but if you're just now jumping onto this blog, Unreality Magazine contributor Remy Carreiro has a series called "Why Haven't You Seen It" where he discusses moderately obscure movies that should get more notoriety than they did. With that out of the way, let me say once again, HOLY CRAP, is this show good! I remember seeing trailers for it back in 2004 and it looked moderately interesting, but wouldn't you know it, I never had the time to actually sit down and watch it. Now, I'm SO GLAD I DID! Unfortunately, this is an SUPER miniseries, consisting of only 3 (movie length) episodes (that are broken up into 6 episodes on The DVD) and as I write this paragraph I have only watched the first episode, but I can already tell, this is gonna be good! And you'll find out just how good it (the entire 3 episodes) were after the break;

Pretty Little Liars S05E02 "Whirly Girl" Review

Yeah, looks like I'm continuing with the "Pretty Little Liars" reviews, why? I'm not entirely sure at this point, but I reviewed the season premier of this season and I guess I should continue. Anyway, we now have the over arching mystery of this season, "Who killed Mrs. DeLaurentis?". In the finale of Season 4, Mrs. DeLaurentis was buried alive by an unknown assailant and now it looks like The Liars have to solve this problem. While I was right that Allison will be officially joining the cast, her involvement has changed the game so much that I barely recognize it now.

STRANGE LOG: 6-17-2014

I suppose I should start doing these more often if I'm not gonna make any videos for 3 weeks (YIKES!) If you watched the video I posted on Youtube then you already know the reason why I'm writing this, but in case you didn't, I've been feeling burned out lately on Youtube videos and I haven't found anything worth making a video about. I like reviewing movies, but I don't want that to be the only thing my channel offers as movie reviewers are a dime a dozen on Youtube. That being said, I still have my surprise in October coming up and I'm trying to get that done as quickly as possible. As far as written projects, I have yet to write my retrospective for "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Turtles Back In Time", mostly because I've had of lack of energy to do it, but I will get it out BEFORE the Michael Bay abomination comes out.

Pretty Little Liars S05E01 "EscApe From New York" Review

At this point, I feel like I should be writing something else because to be honest, I'm none too keen on where this season is going and part of me is debating on whether or not I should continue reviewing this. Keep in mind, if I don't review it, I'll probably still watch it (mostly as time consuming filler) I just won't be invested in it enough to sit down and actually write out my thoughts on. Perhaps I could do a season review (but then how would I dig on Aria's constant stupidity or praise Hannah for her awesomeness or marvel at Spencer's hotness whenever she's on the verge of a mental breakdown?). I don't know. Anyways, let's get into this episode and see where we are.

Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive Review

Alrighty, last time I did a review of the STELLAR (in my humble opinion) top notch series that was "Power Rangers: Jungle Fury", ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! This time we take a look at "Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive". Aside from having the longest title of all the Power Ranger series, "Operation Overdrive" is the least talked about series and because of that, I really didn't know much going into it. That being said, prior to my whole Power Rangers watching session, I did watch 3 episodes of "Operation Overdrive" and in reality those were the only episodes I needed to watch. This series was unfortunately very lack luster and I'll explain why after the break.

DC Comics: The Last Racebender

I can't believe I'm doing this again...actually, yes I can, considering we're living in an age where "political correctness" and selective outrage are as widespread as The Black Death in the middle ages. However, today, I'd like to discuss a topic that I addressed before but now I guess I have to deal with it again because apparently, according some people we live in a;
Actual quote...

I'd like to ask first and foremost, what EXACTLY is a "geekist"? I'd be THRILLED to find out. So in light of Michael B. Jordan being cast as Johnny Storm a.k.a The Human Torch in the upcoming "Fantastic Four" movie, I wrote a blog titled "I'm A Racist" explaining EXACTLY why I was against him playing The Human Torch, I won't rehash it here, you can go and read it yourself, BUT unfortunately this article will cover some of those same points, so I suggest you read it before reading this one. So what is this article about? Well as we all know the "geniuses" over at DC Comics decided to (needlessly) reboot their universe (again) but this time instead of retconning a few things like most DC comic reboots have done...they invariably f*cked up everything...to the point where you have a RED Beastboy, an unmarried Superman, an EXTREMELY slutty Starfire, an EXTREMELY slutty Harley Quinn, Dick Grayson as a secret agent or some bullsh*t and the topic of this article...an African American Wally West and Helena Bertinelli (The Flash & Huntress, respectively). So let's dive into why this is not only stupid but PAINFULLY insulting to everyone.

After Thoughts On "24:Live Another Day"

And here we are, now 6 episodes in (the halfway point) and it's time for me to give my thoughts on "24: Live Another Day" a.k.a The Return Of Jack Bauer. Right off the bat there are somethings I like and a few things I don't, but I'm not 100% sure how much the things I don't will impact the season going forward, let's get started.
