Pretty Little Liars S06E10 "Game Over, Charles" Review

Here we go, here we go...the moment we've all been waiting for, the moment I. Marlene King has advertised, "The 100% No Fooling, Undeniable REVEAL OF "A" a.k.a Charles DiLaurentis. So today is July. 17th and at the moment I'm writing this we're 3 episodes away from this episode but I'm writing my thoughts now so that you all can see the train of thought I have going into this. Whether or not we want to believe Shana as the "A" of Seasons Three & Four is another story completely (which will never make much sense, unless Charles befriended Shana, but even then,,,) but Charles has been "A" for Season Five & Six and has managed to capture The Liars and hold them for 3 weeks in a bunker. Needless to say Charles is the most accomplished "A".

This has been advertised as "the summer of answers" and we're coming up on a MAJOR doozie, the most important questions of the series, Who and Why? And the 2nd most important question, "Will any of this make sense?" I'm highly dubious on that question. Is Charles a character we've known and have seen before or is he a completely new character that the writers will have to introduce? I can't think of an episode in this series that has been more important than this one, but with this revelation comes a different series of questions, just what will Season 7 look like? Will The Liars befriend Charles as they did Mona or will someone take "The Game" from Charles? What does this all mean and I hope by the end of this review I'll have some idea of how some of those questions will be answered. And with all that out of the way, let's dive into "Game Over, Charles"...

Pretty Little Liars S06E09 "Last Dance" Review

The penultimate episode before all is revealed and we find The Liars barred from prom and breadcrumbs laid down for the 2nd half of this season which will leap 5 years after the reveal of "A" which will be an episode titled "Of Late I Think Of Rosewood". Not a lot happened in this episode but enough happened to warrant a review. So let's dive in.

Pretty Little Liars S06E08 "FrAmed" Review

We're only a few episodes away from the exposure of Charles DiLaurentis as Big "A" but now a new player has been added to the board and the game has gotten far more interesting than what it originally appeared to be. I'm curious if I'm correct in thinking this but we'll see, let's get to the action.

Pretty Little Liars S06E07 "Oh Brother,Where Art Thou" Review

We're back at it with what seems to be like a nothing episode, in fact most of the episodes up until the reveal of "A" will feel like chewing the fat. But for now, this episode was yet another stepping stone to get us in the right direction of where things need to be going. Not filler but no real major developments, okay so maybe a few. Let's get to the play by play and figure out what's going on.

Pretty Little Liars S06E06 "No Stone Unturned" Review

Good morning, everyone, of course that depends on where you are in the world and in my case it is 5:25am here in Washington (State, not D.C.) and there is LOTS to get to this week that I'll have to cover on the weekend but before I slug off to work, I decided I'd best get my review for "Pretty Little Liars" up and running, a day late and a dollar short, just as it used to be. Not a whole lot of events to recap from the previous episode, except the revelation that "A" has boobs and The Liars now suspect Mona's friend Florida Ev...I mean Leslie Stone as "A", let's dive in and see what happens.

Pretty Little Liars S06E05 "She's No Angel" Review

With apologizes to everyone, I know I'm late but I was so freakin' tired Tuesday & last night and so very much so looking forward to my day off that I just didn't feel like writing this or my review for "Hannibal" (which if it's not up later today will be up tomorrow). Anyways, with that outta the way. And so last episode, after digging through the trash for Aria's throw away pills, Spencer finally managed to get her hands on some real no foolin' drugs in the form of pot. Of course, this didn't go unnoticed as Ezra caught here and basically told her she's just running from having potentially murdering someone...again. And while The Liars aren't exactly back to where they were, they're okay with each other. We found out that Charles DiLaurentis did indeed exist at one point in time and is allegedly dead and that "A" is potentially a friend of Charles after he had spent time in Radley. Anyways, that's where we were, let's see where we are now.

Pretty Little Liars S06E04 "Don't Look Now" Review

My apologies to everyone who was expecting this review at the usual time, unfortunately/fortunately with my current employment situation I come home frequently tired and though I do watch the episode, I am too tired to review it and even now I should be getting my rest as I have an EXTREMELY busy (and prone to be frustrating day) day tomorrow. So with that out of the way, let's get to the episode proper.

Pretty Little Liars S06E03 "Songs of Experience" Review

I seriously need to start writing these intros AFTER I finish the previous episode, it'll maintain my train of thought. Anyways, last episode, Sara put some serious doubt into The Liars (namely, Emily) about Andrew's guilt and while Aria is out for blood and Hanna is looking to move on (more or less) Spencer and Alison are determined to solve the mystery of Charles DiLaurentis. Of course, Alison's father was no big help, and this only makes Spencer and Alison more dubious on the notion that there is no Charles DiLaurentis. So what's next for The Liars and Andrew "Walking Tall" Campbell, let's find out.

Pretty Little Liars S06E02 "Songs of Innocence" Review

The 2nd episode of what's shaping up to be a pretty dark season of the penultimate season of "Pretty Little Liars" and already they're establishing a few things in terms of where at least this half of the season will go. But The Liars are now free from "A" A-Hole (yes, that's what I'm officially calling it). We've caught up on the goings on, and now here we are, let's get to the action.

Pretty Little Liars S06E01 "Game On, Charles" Review

The day is currently Apr. 14th. I started writing the opening to this review early because I wanted to capture my current thoughts on where Season 5 ended and where this Season begins. I have to say this will probably be one of the oddest season premiers this show has ever had. We're not starting with The Liars in a place we're familiar with anymore, we're starting with The Liars in the clutches of "A". "A" has officially won and has The Liars in his dollhouse. But The Liars aren't without hope, Det. Tanner is now fully aware of The Liars' innocence as well as Alison's, and she has joined forces with Toby & Caleb and has discovered part of "A's" monitoring equipment. Also, Spencer managed to stumble into "A" room and discover some film reels of a one Charles DiLaurentis. Of course, Spencer was the one who cracked the code and discovered "A's" true name as Charles. But they're still in the bunker, still in the dollhouse and still in "A's" clutches. How will this last for 1 more season after this? I. Marlene King revealed that this season will see a 4 year time skip, I guess bypassing all the college years. Will The Liars find out who "A" is and what EXACTLY their motives were or are? All that remains to be seen. We now take you to, Season 6.

Pretty Little Liars S05E25 "Welcome To The Dollhouse" Review

And here we are kids & kiddos! After 120 episodes, 9 kills, 1 reveal of "A" (Mona) and a MAJOR bullsh*t reveal (Shana), we have come to the moment we've all been waiting for. With The Liars now sporting orange jumpsuits, Big "A" finally reveals themselves to The Liars. Could the stakes BE any higher than now? Was this reveal disappointing, senseless or was it totally worth the wait? All that and more after the break!

Pretty Little Liars S05E24 "I'm A Good Girl, I Am" Review

Holy crap was this a good episode with an excellent ending! My goodness, where Seasons 6 and 7 are going is anyone's guess, but one thing remains certain, "A" is a BEAST! So much to get too and so little time to discuss it, but we're gonna try to discuss everything we possibly can. Let's dive into "I'm A Good Girl";

Pretty Little Liars S05E23 "The Melody Lingers On" Review

Sorry for being tardy again, ladies & gentlemen, it's just I had some rather important business to get to yesterday and today that ate up most of my time. Nonetheless, I'm here now so let's gets started. Last week, Hanna's thuggery finally caught up to her and now she's rockin' an orange jumpsuit like Alison. There was some mess about Alison being offered a plea bargain if she named Hanna as her accomplice, Alison didn't take the bait but Hanna's locked up anyway. So let's get to the action.

Pretty Little Liars S05E22 "To Plea Or Not To Plea" Review

photo Watch pretty little liars 522 hdtv lol mp4 1002_zps6ti4st2p.jpg
Hello Kids & Kittens, I'm back with yet another "Pretty Little Liars" review, didn't I say I'd be back to a regular schedule? Well, I delivered, didn't I? Anyways, we're now starting to get somewhere with this Season, with the police now building a case against Alison & her (supposed accomplice) Hanna "a.k.a Thuglife" Marrin. This episode was pretty good, but I'll explain all that and more after the break

Pretty Little Liars S05E21 "Bloody Hell" Review

Howdy ya'll! Unfortunately, I missed the deadline for 2 of my "Gotham" reviews and I'm kicking myself in the butt for having done so, but things have cleared up and I should be back regularly doing the "Pretty Little Liar" reviews! So here we are, with my favorite English expression, "Bloody Hell."

Pretty Little Liars S05E20 "Pretty Isn't The Point" Review

 photo Watchprettylittleliars520hdtvlolmp41251_zps3164345c.jpg
Howdy, kids! Yesterday was my birthday so I took the day off, yes the "Gotham" review will be coming but it'll be coming out a little later (and boy, do I have somethings to say about that episode). For now we have "Pretty Little Liars" to get to and now we're finally getting to some real meat and potatoes this season, and with only 5 episodes left, we finally know what's going on with Mike, that Alison isn't "A" (as if we didn't know that already) and something big is bouts to go down, but we'll get to all that and more after the break.

Pretty Little Liars S05E19 "Out, Damned Spot!" Review

 photo Watchprettylittleliars519hdtvlolwatchseriesonlinemp41033_zps92b94b51.jpg
And here we are once again with "Pretty Little Liars". This episode, not sure what to make of it...more red-herring-ing from the writers, *sigh*, is anyone buying this Mike is working for Alison crap? I sure as hell am not, even if he is working or Alison, I'm "sure" there's a "good reason" for it. Anyways, let's get to the review proper and see what's up.

Pretty Little Liars S05E18 "Oh, What Hard Luck Stories They All Hand Me" Review

So Det. Holbrook is back and of course The Liars are suspicious, but their attention is turned towards a new comer (...and with all the new comers this show has gotten at least one or all of them have to have some connection to Allison...damnit) Leslie, a "friend of Mona's" coming to aide Mona's mother with the Trial Of Alison DiLaurentis a.k.a Emily's Former Lord & Savior, Messiah Of B*tches, Saint Of The Shameless etc. etc. Anyways, last week we established that Lesbians are able to find each other, Mona may have possibly been given The Heisenberg Special, Hanna is a gangsta...and after being nearly frozen to death and physically and mentally harassed by an unseen villain, Ezra somehow gets it in his mind that Aria is missing out on school because of him...I'll allow that to sink in. Now that we're all up to speed, let's dive...

Pretty Little Liars S05E17 "The Bin Of Sin" Review

So here I am again reviewing "Pretty Little Liars", the self-flagellation I engage in everytime I watch this show (although enjoyable) in episodes such as these it's really hard for me to get behind the characters, amidst the jumping to conclusions, the diving into situations without having enough information and those damn secrets that aren't that damn serious! After 4 Seasons of this madness nothing is really happening and this episode plodded along to build and end a few relationships. I'll get to the play by play after the break.

Pretty Little Liars S05E16 "Over A Barrel" Review

Well kids and kittens here we are once again, for those of you outside the know let me give you all a quick summary of the goings-on here in The Strangeverse. So I lost my job, packed up my entirely life and moved to Washington (the state...not D.C....never D.C....) to be with the love of my life, and I've been here since the end of November, where I'm currently staying internet is unavailable with the exception of an unsecure network that I am currently using right now. In the time between here and now my primary use of the internet has been mostly job searching and the (tedious but necessary task of) filling out applications.

Suffice it to say, "Pretty Little Liars" has been the furthest thing from my mind, and considering I already had my fair share of problems with this season (that I addressed HERE, please read if you haven't) I was none too keen on whether or not I'd continue reviewing this series and have have added "Gotham" to fill in the cracks should I cease reviewing "Pretty Little Liars". But as fate would have it, My Boss from my "Other Life" hit me up via text message and after asking her "WHO HIRED YOU?!" (inside joke) told me she missed talking to me about "Pretty Little Liars". Well this lit a fire under me to hurry up and get caught up, which wasn't difficult considering only a few episodes had passed since my move.

Since "Pretty Little Liars" has been on break, it has been announced that Season 7 will be the final season of the series. Now that I know there are only 2 seasons left in the chamber I can rest comfortably somewhat that there will be some kind of resolution to this insane melodrama of lies on top lies wrapped in more lies, dipped in lies and deep fried in lies and served with a side of lies (seriously, the lies are out of control). So with all of that out of the way, let's get to it and see what we see (which is never much...but...then again that's to be expected...);
